‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
December has arrived and it always seems to just sneak up on us. This is crazy…go to a shopping mall and Christmas is everywhere. While people may not miss the day or the event, they might miss the meaning of what it’s all about. It’s probably safe to say that most people probably miss the truth, the experience, and the wonder of Christmas. So we’re going to imagine Twas the Night Before Christmas back in Jesus’ day—the very first Christmas Eve. What was it like in Rome on that first Christmas Eve? What was going through the minds of the people in Jerusalem? Did anyone even notice in Bethlehem that there was this baby that was about to be born? Or did they all miss it? Our hope is that you won’t!
Here’s the schedule for the series:
December 4 – Unaware in Rome
December 11 – Hopeless in Jerusalem
December 18 – Busy in Bethlehem
December 24 – CHRISTMAS EVE (2:30, 4:30, 6:30 & 11 pm)
